Full Circle Health Holiday Family Project
As we all prepare for the busy holiday season, it is time to kick-off the annual Full Circle Health Holiday Family Project! This is a long-standing tradition of giving at the Full Circle Health. Please consider donating to this fund to help a patient or family that needs assistance this holiday season. Over the years, our organization has seen firsthand the joy brought to many families through this very unique project!
WECARE Fund
The purpose of this fund is to provide the most needy established patients with 90 days of essential medications per year. The hope is by doing so our patients will remain healthier and as a result, emergency room and hospital utilization will decrease.
Safety Net for AIDs Program
All proceeds benefit SNAP, Safety Net for AIDS Program. SNAP provides assistance in housing, utility bills, groceries, and medical insurance payments for those in the Treasure Valley with HIV/AIDS. Full Circle Health is home to the Wellness Center in Boise. The Wellness Center serves 700 individuals living with HIV in Southern Idaho/Eastern Oregon and houses the SNAP account to help these individuals get the assistance they need. Requests for financial assistance can be submitted through the Wellness Center with one of the Medical Case Managers.
Idaho’s First School Based Health Clinic
Full Circle Health in collaboration with the Meridian School District, Central District Health Department and Boise State University, College of Health Sciences, Department of Nursing and Treasure Valley United Way have established Idaho’s first School Based Health Clinic that is housed at Meridian Elementary. SBHCs provide an optimal setting to foster learning readiness and academic achievement while giving children the resources they need to improve their health. The data is clear that linking education and health for low income students can improve school performance and reduce Medicaid costs.
Endowed Chair in Rural Family Medicine
An Endowed Chair in Rural Family Medicine is a faculty position supported by the interest income on funds established from the endowment focused exclusively on building the Full Circle Health’s rural training program. The goal of the endowed chair is to create a sustainable fund to provide for rural rotations by residents, fund research, and pay for the necessary travel to rural parts of Idaho to maintain training sites.
